Haven't seen it, don't want to see it. I'm sure it's just as tasteless as everyone says it is. What I'm curious about is the IMDb rating, 3.1/10.

Once in a while I'll take a gander at IMDb's bottom 100.
The highest rated movie is (As I'm writing this post) the 2008 remake of Prom Night with a score of 4.1/10. The lowest is Disaster Movie with a score of 2.0/10.

I remember there being controversy when the infamous "musician" Justin Bieber got a documentary called "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" that got a score of 1.6/10, yet
it didn't make the bottom 100. I even remember people accusing IMDb of taking bribe money. The elephant in the room with this movie is the fact that
obviously the vast majority of people that gave it a 1/10 hadn't even watched the movie. They just hated Bieber so much they 1-starred it regardless since
he was very widely despised back then (And even today to a lesser extent, but most people just don't care anymore).
My assumption was that it didn't get on the bottom because the movie had a 52/100 Metascore from official critics. Every movie with a Metacritic page
has the Metascore on their IMDb as well.

However I've noticed that The Haunting of Sharon Tate, which has a 3.1/10 also has a 8/100 Metascore.
With a score far worse than Prom Night it makes me kinda wonder how the list works. If it's automatic or if someone needs to change it manually. My best guess is that new movies
don't register until they've been out for a while. Obscure films shows don't seem to register at all, but I'm not sure this qualifies. I just want to know the exact mechanics.

Even I passed on the offer to review that one.

Don't know the exact mechanics of the Bottom 100 but your guess sounds right; they probably need to be out a while to gather enough data to stabilize ratings.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I believe they don't include documentaries in the worst/best list. It's only for movies.

It's not a documentary, it's a "horror" movie.

According to IMDb's rules, a movie needs 10,000 votes to be included in the Bottom lists. I assume it works automatically but I really have no idea.

I think- and this is jsut me- that any film that uses the name of Sharon Tate in the title must be worthless expliotation.
Yes- the new Tarintino film involves Manson. But some low budget garbage like this makes me wanna puke.

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Ah. I couldn't find the rules but that makes sense. Thank you.

So this haunting of Sharon  Tate is one even bad movie fans pass on. Ok,  had no plans to watch it after I heard about it (which was here)  and glad I made the right call.

sometimes i wish people knew that bieber has a nice side too. my youngest niece wrote him a letter during a dark time of her life, and they've been penpals ever since. she's met him at several shows and he ALWAYS brings her backstage for a chat before the show. he's given her some good advice too, treats her like she was his own little sister. i like that about him.

I never liked beibers music but I never hated  him. Some of the haters are just total dicks.

That is seriously, seriously cool. My respect for him just went way up.

Too bad he does idiotic things like challenge Tom Cruise to a UFC match and tagged Dana White in the tweet.
