Honestly i'd need time to think on this.

One platitude I believe is useful came from the transformers universe. Shockwaves motto. "Clarity of thought before rashness of action. "

Don't know if icd make it a commandment but it sure seems like it'd make a good one.

Maybe if I had to be original i'd try "Thou shalt not heed the powerful when they tell you the powerless are to blame for your troubles. "
