Hello! I was browsing this cult movie site and was advised to make an account to post in this forum.
I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out a title to a movie.

As a kid in the early 80's video store, there was a live-action movi that had something similar to the image for its cover art.

I sketched out this drawing and made-up what I think the VHS cover looked like. I am hoping someone might recognize it.
Its as exact as I can recall.

The art was not a photo, it was an illustration, a blue-ish or grey painting of a guy, shoulder deep (NOT neck deep) in a dry lake at night.

It was NOT anime related, and NOT Dead & Buried.

I don't know why, but its one of those images that stuck with me all these damn years and am hoping I can finally know what movie it was, or at least find the original cover again.

Might you have any ideas of what movie I'm talking about?

Thanks for any help!

Can't help you guy, but welcome to our little dominion! I'm karmaing you just for joining!

As to the image thing, look at the icons above the message input screen. See the ropund red and white strioped one, second row down? move to the fight on that to the next icon, click on it. basically a paired set of brackes with appear with img and /img in them. Put your cursor right between the middle brackets and paste the image there.

Thank you, I know how to do it, it's that when I do, I keep getting red text that saying "Sorry, you are not allowed to post links."
And won't let me post with the link to image. >_<;;

It does that until you post so many times- I think to avoid spam.

Not and exact match but the artwork reminded me of this:
