Excellent advice, Gabriel, and true. I don't hate Sven though. I think I've only hated one person in my life, and I don't hate him anymore. Sven is more like a bad smell I wish would blow away. The thing about Sven is truly doesn't see himself for what he is, and that's more pitiful than worthy of hate. An entire gathering of people can dislike Sven, and he pushes on under the delusion that he's right. I actually gave him his first-ever point of good karma when he was a new person here, and welcomed him in. The irony....

I agree with you.  It's worth noting though, that when he's been at his most recent worst, you applaud him...

Sven adds nothing sufficiently constructive or amusing here that compensates for the daily whining doses of self-pity, sheer hatred for all he disagrees with, atrocious grammar, and belligerence which are monotonous realities in his posts.  I've tried to engage with him and even applauded him on occasion, but he's become a cancer in our little family.
This forum was a happier place before he came, and will lose nothing except drama when he leaves.

I'm experimenting with locking threads like these to see if this will put a damper on the endless drama.

This may not be a universal opinion, but at this point the drama around Sven has become more annoying than Sven himself.

He is not leaving voluntarily on his own, he doesn't respond well to any criticism he sees as negative, and engaging with him like this just makes him retaliate. If he breaks a rule, he will receive a temporary ban.
