I'm a fanatical book collector. I love old books, magazines, newspapers.
I like new ones too!
My most treasured book is, oddly enough, a paperback movie tie in edition of the HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, by Shirley Jackson. That book is dog-eared.

Yeah, but not on purpose. I just want to read 'em, and then can't stand to part with them because I might want to read them again someday. I'd actually like to get rid of some to save space.

I don't have a massive collection of books- most books that I have owned got so read and re-read that they were mostly in tatters, and I doubt many are worth anything beyond a personal level. But the ones I do have I treasure very much.
I did sell about 100 comics and monster mags about 2 years ago because I needed money. But they were so ragged out- I didn't get much.

It's been a while, but I still pick up used books especially when they're thrown away.  Most of my favorite books I've lost.

Ye-es! I mean I did. I have a large collection of paperbacks, though, most of them now are boxed up and in storage, that I have been collecting since middle school. Not so much anymore, as the people who continue to be published in paperback, are people I have no interest in reading. Most of my reading material now comes from the local public library.

I have the "100 Greatest Books Ever Written" collection from the Easton Press. It's a very nice set of hardcover classics. They sent me 1 book every month for over 8 years.

I have the entire collection of Doc Savage and The Avenger paperback pulp novels from Bantam Books.

I have a boxed set of all the James Bond paperbacks.

I don't really collect books . . . but I have a few book collections . . .
