Lots of Irn Bru (a carbonated drink), some books by Jack Campbell (not my favourite author but his books are easy to read on long journeys).

Well, apparently today I bought two ten-week old black lab pups, brothers named Skipper and Bojack, who are in-route from Pittsburgh at this moment, as my daughter tells me, but I didn't know til a bit ago that I did, and I am not sure I am down with this, given its timing, having so very recently lost my old dog. I'm sure I'll love these new guys and I'm sure they're cute, sweet, great, but somehow getting new dogs so soon doesn't seem respectful. Like re-marrying when your spouse just....well.

Hey, I also bought some blue raspberry Pop Rocks. Wonder if puppies like Pop Rocks? My other dog did.  Bluesad

I got a book I used to have back in the 70's called the ORIGIN MARVEL COMICS, that is real cool, plus BRING ON THE BAD GUYS about Marvel villians , and as a plus the guy sent me a ragged out issue of X-Men #25 from 1966! And I got # 2 of CASTLE OF FRANKENSTEIN magazine and AGENT OF SHEILD by from 1966 by Jack Kirby! I'm a happy nerd!

And none of this cost me over 30 dollars! Because I buy from folks who don't give a f**k about my nerd s**t and think I'm crazy. Of course I reckon so- but I don't care! I think it's cool, so f**k them!
The so called "collecter"  of s**t like this is not who I buy from. I buy from folks who don't care about this s**t. That's how I get it cheap. I don't give  f**k if it's in a plastic bag. And If it is, it won't be if it gets to my house. It will sit on a stack  of old comics for my grandson to read when he comes over. And he loves my old books.

Best of luck with that RC, hope you win it. Mind you I might just bid on it myself.  BounceGiggle

Heh, only kidding.

I've picked up the boxed sets for upgrading the three main factions in X-Wing 2nd edition in the past week. Also got my long awaited tattoo done.

A couple of months ago I bought a videogame console that's basically an emulator with Android on it and has every console from the Playstation 1 to Atari. It's Heaven for any old school gamer!
Also, since I always were a big SEGA fan, I bought the original controllers with USB port.

Does it count if I ordered it but it's  not here yet?

Ok.

I ordered the book "Elysium fire" by Allistair Reynolds. It's a sequel to his,  IMO,  best book "the prefect".

Should get here today,  I found a used copy in good condition on amazon.

The prefect was about a law enforcement officer in a society that nhas only one law: Democracy. The society, known as "the glitter belt" consists of hundreds of  habitats off various  sizes and populations that are all independent orbiting a planet in a remote star system. It's  a fairly hard SF transhuman setting.

Each habitat is free to choose its  own laws as long as they are voted on democratically.  The only universal law is free and fair voting with no interference.

The panopoly is the agency charged with enforcing the democracy rules law and their agents are called prefects.

I didn't buy it-Tiana bought it for me! She saw it at the flea market and thought of me!  A real cool Jimi Hendrix poster. I love it.

Heh, only kidding.

I've picked up the boxed sets for upgrading the three main factions in X-Wing 2nd edition in the past week. Also got my long awaited tattoo done.

Tattoo of what? Iv'e done Tats. I'm good at it, but they take like a year for me to do one on someone, because I go real slow because i get real into it and want to make it perfect. I always used a homemade gun and a bottle of India ink. I did a tat on a biker chick -Linda Osbourne. It took me about a year. It was good! It was Merlin the Magician guy, ya know-hippie kinda s**t- but in his robe I got real weird and drew dinosaurs and monsters. It came out real weird.
She loved it- she told me-" just do what's in your head". And that's what I do anyway!
I am not good at drawing 'things' like portraits or landscapes. I draw whats in my brain at the moment.

And most of it makes no sense whatsoever.

Not safe for work! The last thing you want to see in this blood drenched world is tits!
