Going to agree with you on number 1.

1 Motorhead.
2 Ozzy Osborne.
3 Judas Priest.
4 Alice Cooper.
5 Rob Zombie.
6 Guns N Roses (at least up to Use Your Illusion).
7 Ultravox.
8 The Almighty.
9 Mega Deth.
10 Skyclad.

Skyclad were a 90's English folk metal group. Ultravox were an early 80's New Romantic's group and The Almighty were a late 80's heavy rock group that later drifted into punk and faded away.

I'll try recommending a song from each.

Skyclad - Spinning Jenny
Ultravox - Vienna
The Almighty - Free & Easy, no wait Crucify, or maybe Jesus Loves You... But I Don't.

ULTRAVOX
did not go over "across the pond" like lots of successful Brit artists of that time.

Lil Wayne
Lady Gaga
Ed Sheeran
Justin Bieber
Nicki Minaj
Drake
Rihanna
Ariana Grande
Michael Buble
Post Malone

I know what you're all thinking, so before anyone says it: the reason I chose Rihanna over Britney Spears is because although Britsy is a fantastic flugel hornist, Ri-Ri is more innovative on the harpsichord and the mellotron.
