Or Charleton, if your so inclined!
What was (or is) your favorite comic book company?
Mine was Marvel. I bought the Fantastic Four, Capt.America and the Falcon, Devil Dinosaur, the Invaders, Sgt.Fury, and the Inhumans all the time. But I also bought Sgt.Rock, Swamp Thing (by Bernie Wrightson!), and also Creepy by Warren magazines. And those generic mags with real bloody covers like Terror Tales or Witches' Tales. And MAD, of course.

DC, because Batman. There shouldn't be any other superheroes besides Batman. The rest of them are all terrible and I hate them.  Hatred

DC was even too stupid for my teenage ass. I had a Superman comic where they had green kryptonite, and yellow, and red, and maybe some other colors. And Bizzaro, and Superdog, and cat, and horse! And Superbaby. It was beyond stupid. The fact alone that nobody could tell Clark Kent was Superman...AHH! If I put on a pair of glasses, would you know me?  Question

To be fair, I haven't read any new comics since the late 70's, so there ya go. I reckon I'm biased, being I'm an old bastard.
I don't know who those folks are...
I collect old comics- but mostly from the 60's and early 70's.
I have more old monster movie mags and MAD than anything else.

As a kid, other than Batman who was just the most awesome hero ever I would generally read Marvel stuff. Once I was about 5 years old guys like Superman just seemed more dorky than heroic.

Marvel, through and through.  I grew up reading X-Men, Iron Man, Hulk, Capt. America, Howard the Duck, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc.

As far as DC, the only books I've gotten into in any sense were Batman and Swamp Thing.  Primarily because I saw both movies as a kid in the 80s.  Superman is overrated (although the first superhero I believe so I can respect that) and never got into Green Lantern or Aquaman or anything.

Mostly DC.  I've been reading the Green Lantern comics for the longest time.  Also like Justice League, Wonder Woman. and JSA.

For Marvel, I like Ghost Rider, Moon Knight and She Hulk- the older more fun versions that broke the fourth wall way before Deadpool.

Outside the Big Two, I like IDW.  They had the best Godzilla comic series ever in Godzilla: Rulers of Earth

Eric Powell's The Goon is another favorite and great for anyone with a slightly dark sense of humor.

Typically I prefer marvel as the heroes always felt more like actual people rather than just being perfect.

Plus DC heroes tend to be far too over powered.

I grew up on Marvel comics. Started around 1969-70 when I was 5 or 6 years old and my cousin gave me a bunch of his. He would give me comics every time I saw him. He'd read them and then give them to me. Marvel and DC, but I always preferred Marvel. I read comics avidly until I was around 14 or 15 years old, then I slowed down. Now I'm reading them again (just pre-1990 stuff . . . especially 1960s and 70s). I preferred Marvel's characters . . . they were much more 3-dimensional than DC's. Marvel had great story arcs and supporting characters that played a significant role in the stories. DC would often cram 2 short stories into a single issue with little or no continuity. With Marvel, I felt like I was in the middle of an ongoing TV series.
