there appears to be a tv series of TEEN WOLF. although it lasted 6 seasons and apparently got good reviews...I'm not interested in that.

my dvd of BEYOND WESTWORLD came today. just watched the pilot. it's bad, in a special way. some of the dialogue is jaw droppingly dumb

"I thought you said you were superb at technology?"

"I said I was good. I'm not yet old enough to be superb."

MY BIG FAT GREEK LIFE was one of the worst series ever and only lasted a few episodes. I watched the first episode and couldn't believe what I was seeing.

PRIVATE BENJAMIN was a series in the early 1980s.

SERPICO was a mid-1970s series starring David Birney

Tremors. As I understand it, it failed to make it past the pilot episode.

Tremors actually had a full single season.  And a second one was planned.

If it was based on the movie then I don't know what anybody expected, that was one of the worst films I've ever seen, and literally the worst comedy ever.

I completely disagree about the movie. It was much funnier than I expected it would be.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure had two spin-offs, one animated and the other live action. While the former is fondly remembered by some (and had the advantage of the main characters being voiced by Winter, Reeves, and Carlin), the latter is reviled and only lasted seven episodes.
definitely remember there being a cartoon although I never really watched it. had no idea there was a live action series. if reeves and winter weren't involved then what were the makers even thinking...

Oddly enough, while the first season of the cartoon used the actual actors from the movies as the voice actors, the second season replaced them with the actors from the TV show.  There's was a noticeable drop in quality.

FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES? I never seen even 1 episode. But it was on from '88 until '90...?

Talk about not missing much.

Amazing how many of these short TV series I've actually watched.

I also have a copy of the TV series based on the Blade movies. The dvd comes in two versions, a TV-14 version and a R version that contains a little nudity.

Lethal Weapon seasons 1 and 2 were decent. Would've lasted longer had Damon Wayans not been a nightmare behind the scenes. Had decent ratings and was a hit internationally

I just found out there was a Rush Hour TV series at one point.

Notice how neither of these people are Jackie Chan or Chris Tucker?

Why even adapt a Jackie Chan movie if you can't get Jackie Chan?  He's the whole reason the movie existed.

Apparently nobody liked this series.  It was canceled after one season.

I saw one episode: the guy playing Jackie Chan's part has as much martial arts skills as I do and the guy playing Chris Tucker's role isn't funny and can't act.

At one point in time, seemed to be cartoons of just about everything popular ( Alf, Hammer Man, NKOTB)-recall Back to the Future being decent. Obviously with Star Wars there was Droids and Ewoks. which was hit and miss but always an interesting watch. There was a Tales from the Cryptkeeper cartoon that's actually pretty good too. Men in Black was a pretty solid 90s toon too as  I recall. The 90s Godzilla film also led to a cartoon series which is arguably better than the film...
