not seen this film but remember wanting to check it out from descriptions I read.

If I remember the descriptions accurately, the film begins with some kind of toxic chemical leak and/or explosion, leading to a big cloud of gas from which a woman (and/or other people) emerge, but they're now zombies (or similar). there's also possibly helicopters flying around, or one helicopter?

vague I know but might ring a bell with one of you. almost certain it's early 80s

thanks but that's not it...

I'm thinking this incident at the start I described might have a nucular/nukes aspect to it?
