I also had this conversation with a friend of mine on New Years Eve and thought it would make a good topic here.

The only rule is that you have to have seen the movie you listed.

Not really possible to narrow it down to 10 favorites or 10 best, but here's 10 I would stand behind (in chronological order):

The Tree of Life (2011)
The Act of Killing (2012)
Blancanieves (2010)
The Master (2012)
Inherent Vice (2014)
The Witch (2015)
The Love Witch (2016)
Get Out (2017)
The Death of Stalin (2017)
Knives Out (2019)

Many others could be here instead.

OK...I'm gonna try a few.
.NEBRASKA (2013) Will Forte drives his father cross country (Bruce Dern) to cash in a Publishing Clearing House letter, which is most certainly a loser. That's it! But it's a great movie anyway.
Well,...that's one.
"Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Let's see...

THE HOBBIT: I know a lot of people disliked these ones but to be honest I loved them just as much as the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. I just wished Mr Jackson toned down the CGI a little, but sadly, that's the way the film industry is nowadays. It managed to move me in many ways, entertain me, and transport me to the Middle Earth once again; pretty much everything I expected from it.
SUPER TROOPERS 2: the first one is my favorite comedy of all times, and the sequel, while nowhere near as good, did managed to entertain me and give me plenty of good laughs. It was great seeing the whole cast back, but I really hated the whole USA - Canada stuff. For anyone who isn't from these countries, it's just plain dull.
WARCRAFT: it instantly became my favorite movie of all times, and literally gave me renewed hopes for the world I live in. Yeah, I'm a weird man, I know.

I don't recall any other movie right now from the past ten years, at least one that made an impression on me.
