i have been looking for top 100 vampyre movies, but its none of them.

short description: the movie contains flying vampyres that knock your window and wake you up.
they try to talk to you to open the window, when you do , they will fly in and bite you.

longer description:
there was a guy rocking in rocking chair when the main character came to the room.
he used a cross to expell him.

hospital event: some body became a vampyre and the main character quickly made
a cross by fixing some sticks togehter as a cross and burned the forehead of the vampyre.

when the characters went to the mansion the main vampyre lifted a guy and pushed him
to the wall with shapr horns.

in the end, the main character went to the cellars of the mansion and started to hammer a wooden
nail to the main dracula but he woke up. then he escaped out of the room and closed the door.
and somehow started the fire and burned the whole mansion. all the vampyres screaming.

this one was the most effective in my childhood. i had nightmares 2 months after seeing this movie.

Gabriel Knight

The scene of the vampires floating outside the windows actually reminded of THE SIMPSONS episode in which Bart turns into one. That particular segment is inspired by THE LOST BOYS.
Could that be the movie you're looking for?

Salem's Lot is certainly the one that came to my mind reading the description.
I'll show you ruin
I'll show you heartbreak
I'll show you lonely
A sorrow in darkness

don't EVEN...EVER!

Oh, yes. The original poster is talking about Salem's Lot. The dead giveaway is the scene with the guy pushed onto the horns. The guy being Ed Flanders who played a character called Dr. Bill Norton.

Bumping this one more time just in case Original Poster "Johnp" is lurking around somewhere. We've got four members in agreement that he's describing SALEM'S LOT, and though vampires appearing outside someone's window is a ubiquitous trope, the hospital scene, the death-by-"horns", and the burning mansion all distinguish this as SALEM'S LOT. So I'll be #5 in vouching for that solution....... Johnp, do you read us???

I will be #6 in vouching for Salem's Lot: you can move this to Solved as far as I am concerned.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
