^ I have the Marx Brothers Scrapbook published in 1973. It's a huge over size book which I first bought when I was a member of the Movie Book Club in 1974 ( I was 12 years old!). I bought some cool books from them! I also got from them then LUGOSI-THE MAN BEHIND THE CAPE, and VINCENT PRICE UNMASKED.
Anyway- Anobile spends almost a year interviewing Groucho, Gummo, and Zeppo. Mostly Groucho. Dali is never mentioned even once. I bought a copy!
So yeah- that sounds interesting!

This was the NYC I lived in. The Bronx. Not much has changed, I reckon. It was the wild west back then. Nobody had a job. I never got in a fight. I was a white punk just as poor as them. All the fighting was drug dealer s**t- so there was a lot. It was the only job option in town. There was NOTHING. And I do mean NOTHING. It was like a war zone. I got in all sortsa fights on Long Island- all with white people. I bit a guy on the neck who had my brother on the ground. He was sitting on my brother punching him. I jumped on his back, put him in a headlock- and bit as hard as I could in his neck. It drew blood- he let go!
I never got arrested.
