I AM THE BAD PHOTOSHOP EFFECT!

Thing about this movie to me is that the title didn't really match the film.  (in a more noticeable way then some other films.)  Something more along the lines of Revenge of the Tree  or The Island Curse, would have felt more appropriate.  From Hell it came  feels like it belongs to a more 70's exploitation film to me.

I first heard of this film from the old (now long gone) site in the '00s which had a gallery of every single card from the Horror Monsters non-sports series.

It's been a favourite for a while. I do like the monster design a lot and think it's a fun film, but it's also a movie I've always been able to giggle at... and this is as a person who takes Gamera relatively seriously. From Hell It Came is a masterpiece of genuinely hilarious '50s monster flicks that goes above and beyond a lot of the competition.

this one was if i recall really painfully bad, but to be fair it's not nearly as Bad as (1953)'s Robot Monster that one is so bad that the director tried killing himself and missed.

i think i lost 30 years of my life watching that one,

Given the budget this was never going to be as effective as it could be but the Tabonga suit is great and there's enough going on in it to pass the short running time pretty enjoyably.
