Me and Tiana watched this last night.
What an amazing and inspirational movie this is! I don't tear up much watching films; but this one got my goat. It's a good thing my prescription glasses are tinted, because I don't like folks to see me cry about a movie. I'm weird like that.
Harriet Tubman helped change American history. She is a
true hero.
She's more than that, actually. She should be a major part of history books. It seems like she is mentioned as an aside. It shows how one person-with no money, no formal education (she couldn't read!), can touch so many lives.
