Was CLASH OF THE TITANS listed? Because that head could still turn people into stone even when dead.

It's eyes opened and the snakes moved when it was shown to the Kraken (at least in the 1981 version, I've blotted out memories of the 2010 version).

I did consider the severed heads in the South African movies Laser Mission and The Most Dangerous Woman Alive / Lethal Woman but these either hang from the ceiling or are in glass bottles: they don't speak or move.
