Dad dresses as a pink bunny and likes it

I am going crazy trying to find a movie I saw years ago on TV where a dad dresses as a pink bunny for his kids birthday and ends up liking it. He then discovers that there are others like him, but his wife finds out and they argue. He says a line similar to "but it's who I am". I always thought it was a lifetime tv movie, but can't find it in their catalog.

Bruce Willis shows up in the movie North as a person in a pink bunny outfit: I'm not sure if that is your movie.

Unfortunately you are correct. North is not enough of a lifetime movie for it to be the right one. Thanks for commenting though.

Is this a horror movie or just one that has a mental illness subplot.
There are dozens of movies with killers in bunny suits and then there
is that weird one, Donnie Darko and it's sequel S.Darko.

It was definitely not a horror movie. I don't believe it was either of the Darco films. This was definitely more of a cheese drama.
