Hello all! Longtime lurker, first time poster. I don't see an introductions section on the forum so I suppose this is as good a place to barge in as any.

Many years ago I saw a movie on TV and I only recall two scenes distinctly. Possibly enough to ring a bell for someone.

One scene I remember is a man at a bathroom sink rubbing black makeup on his face. No...no... Not blackface, but in the way that a sniper would do. He looks into the mirror a couple times and either sees the devil or sees himself as the devil.

The other scene is the ending, where the hero's lady friend takes him into a room where she has a goat head on a pentagram.

I saw this on TV... Jeez... Maybe 30 years ago. The local Fox affiliate (WSMH 66 out of Saginaw Michigan) used to air oddball movies on Sunday afternoons (I recall seeing a HEAVILY edited version of White Fire around the same time) but I'll be damned if I can recall much else about the movie in question.

Any help would be appreciated!

Afraid that isn't one that is familiar to me in the UK. Possibly a made for TV movie?

I prefer Michiganite  :teddyr: but... I'm near the center of the mitten. About 20 miles south of the exact dead center, actually, in a little hamlet called Ithaca.

I've wondered that myself. Quite a few of the movies they'd play on those Sunday showings were originally made for TV.

I've been getting asked a lot this year about my memories of the Satanic panic era. Pretty much every hobby I had was attacked by this. Trying to explain how it felt to be one of the last things that Christianity could attack is interesting, especially with one of their last bastions (Conversion Therapy), currently under attack and in the process of being outlawed in the UK at the moment (it is complicated and going to be a long process though).
