I find it always amazing how a film, or an artist, even almost 100 years later, still is there.
Bob Kane's Joker. To the 1966 BATMAN TV show (my favorite Batman on film), to all the Joker's in all the new stuff.
It is amazing.
Except in the film, the scary looking guy- Gwynplaine- is not a villain.
