Back then everybody did smoke and drink. So at least it was accurate about that.
Iv'e not seen it, likely won't. Not a big Liam Neeson fan, though I like him well enough in DARK MAN. I watched the trailer. It looks forced. Like it's trying to be a homage to Bogey, and doing it very badly.
Agreed: the film lagged so badly at times that I thought I was watching paint dry.
