The sleep of reasoner breeds monsters. (sic)

I think most of you will find this an interesting eleven minutes. Back before CGI was the norm, special effects creators like this man had to get imaginative, and it's remarkable how he and others achieved some convincing illusions, like a rotating fighter jet scene shot in his living room, a jungle battle done on the walkway of his apartment complex, and a flying sci-fi hover-speeder built of foam and spare bits from Home Depot. Plus many scale models! Yet it all looks darn great. This man worked in the business in the '80s and '90s (and beyond) and shows how he did some amazing tricks.

What does not kill me makes me stranger.
