help finding movie title...

OK...i'm trying to remember a movie someon told me about.

it isn't a B-movie per se...but it sounds pretty obscure. a 70s production i think. it's possible it was never released on video.

it's a documentary about an avant garde-type director in a remote country. perhapse thailand? anyway, for a film he needs to have a ship carried up a mountain. the documentary films the process.

i'm looking for the name of the film or the documentary.
