Okay, most "remastered" veersions of films are completely unnecessary (Star Wars IV-VI, E.T.), but there are some films the should be touched up a bit-

Escape From New York- I've never really been able to enjoy this movie, and it's almost completely due to the terrible sound. First, there's the synth music (a staple in Carpenter films, I know). Second, the sound effects are just weak. When Isaac Hayes crashes his car on the bridge it sounds like paper tearing, and the gunshots? I've heard better in silent films!

Tora! Tora! Tora!- As boring as dialogue-heavy as Pearl Harbor is stupid and annoying. Cut a good forty-five minutes of talking out and supplant the kick-ass attack scenes from Michael Bay's otherwise complete waste and we'll have a great movie about the event.
