I have to say that the reason I started that nasty political debate, "A Controversial Subject"  is because it was something that has been weighing heavily on my mind for some time now. I wanted response. I knew I would get it on this board.  I most definitely did. 62 replies in all.  It is something that I guess I , and most of all of the rest of us need some closure on. All of us are uncertain about the near future. Each of us knows deep down that the very life and survival of the U.S. could possibly be at stake. Thinking on it now I must admit my original post was motivated by fear. I know, I know. Everyone says not to show your fear. "Doing that means that the terrorists have already won" they say. I think that all of us has just a little fear of what might happen deep down inside us even if we don't want to admit it. I honestly didn't think that my post would get out of hand as bad as it did. We're all friends here. I'm a good person. I know all of you are too. I hereby issue my formal apology for starting this entire mess. No hard feelings??

I understood that you wanted to talk about the subject.  Also knew that, more than likely, harsh words would be said at some point.  Political debates are just destined for such things.

Here's to less heavy discussions, where we debate if an eighteen month-old could really take on Herman Munster.   (Guess the film!)  That the second movie was far worse than the first is a done deal.

Pet Semetary

(I know, probably it wasn't directed at me.  Couldn't help myself.)
