Blue Velvet

Just viewed BLUE VELVET. Phew what a dark sick movie by Lynch. Not quite ERASERHEAD, but Dennis Hopper dose his best. Tried to hard perhaps. Did I miss something? This film wasn''t that memorable for me, but it was ok.

Andrew just view a tape from the Ultraman series. That hurt, but I suppose it had its monster moments. I'll try to finish the second part of this 25 minute show. Early POWER RANGER that ULTRAMAN?

As you can see I had a rough viewing week, maybe next time.

Blue Velvet is really, really, really overrated by Lynch fans. I prefer Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and The Straight Story. That's about it.

I have to agree that Blue Velvet is ridiculously overrated. Entertainment Weekly's even ranked it number 37 on their list of the 100 best movies ever made, putting it higher than Schindler's List, North by Northwest, Taxi Driver and The Graduate.

It gets good whenever Dennis Hopper shows up, but all those pointless other scenes put me to sleep.
