Is anyone else out there a fan of this film?  I think it's one of the best exploitation films ever, and have seen it countless times. It's one of the few such films that actually has a brain in it, and every time I see it, there's a new meaning to every action, every scene, and every piece of dialogue. Most critics see it as a political allegory, usually for either the rise and fall of the Third Reich or the Russian Revolution and the subsequent Great Terror. I take the latter position. The killer, as I see it, represents both Lenin and Stalin. The bullies represent, (in order of death) Tsar Nicholas, Tsar Mikhail, and Kerensky, and the other victims represent (again, in order of death), Bukharin, Zinoviev, Nestor Mankho, and Trotsky. Just try and watch it  if you ever get the chance. It used to play on TV all the time, but now hardly ever does ever since Columbine, and at this present time, a DVD release would be in very poor taste.

Yes, you can count me as a big fan of this film. I certainly think it is better then "Heathers," which deals in some ways with the same subject, though not as well (IMHO). And I agree, if one gets a chance to see it, then watch it. Enjoy
