1 Realization.....1 Resemblance

I admit that I've been a busy bee around this here phorum the last couple of days.
I had the weekend off.
So a little more free time was available to me.
I sat down last night and watched 2 great films.
    Trainspotting.
    A Clockwork Orange.
What a combination huh??!!
I knew you were thinking that!  LOL!!
I noticed and had a realizaion with the former and a resemblance with the latter. (did I say that right?)
    I've seen "Trainspotting" many times and I never realized until last night when I saw his name in the credits and checked it on the I.M.D.B. that the man who plays "Mikey Forrester" (the guy who sells Renton the opium suppositories and the heroin from the Russian sailors) is actually Irvine Welsh.  
    The man who wrote the novel "Trainspotting".
I then watched "A Clockwork Orange" ( my favorite film of all time).
    I noticed a resemblance.  
Doesn't the actor who played "Dim" on "A Clockwork Orange" look a lot like Phillip Seymour Hoffman (played Freddy Lounds in "Red Dragon" and also the gay guy in "Boogie Nights"....his memorable line from that film was, after his advances are rejected by Mark Wahlberg's character Dirk Diggler, "I'm a f**kin' idiot"!  "...."I'm a f**kin' idiot"!   "...."I'm a f**kin' idiot"!   "...."f**kin' idiot"!  f**kin' idiot!)
Sorry for the profanity but those were the only lines of his I could remember from the movie.
    Do you think they look similar??

They do look simmilar....Seymor Hoffman is tremendous.  I hope "Red Dragon" gets him more recognition.  He deserves it.
