Recently while in a Value Village I saw a rack of beta tapes and started looking. Man. They had some awesome beta tapes! April Fools Day, Eliminators, Phantasm II, and tons more. And for dirt cheap. It made me want to find a beta player and buy some beta tapes. Anyone here still use a beta player? I can't think of anyone who still has ones, they seemed short lived.

My parents originally bought beta, but eventually switched to VHS when beta blanks became next to impossible to find. They still have the VCRs, but the last time my mother tried to play one of her old tapes, the machine ate it. Of course it might have something to do with the fact that the tape was left in the VCR when it was put in an attic that reaches temperatures of about 120+ in the summer.
