Haven't seen it yet, but if you haven't either, here's something to watch and listen for: according to the IMDB entry's "trivia" section--quote--"in honor of the franchise's 40th anniversary, there is a visual or spoken reference to each of the previous nineteen Bond films." Someone listed an easy example on the IMDB Message Boards: "Diamonds are for everyone." Visual references reportedly fill Q's lab, such as spike-loaded shoes as seen in "From Russia With Love."
Censored for US release?? Whaaaaaaaa? I don't have a confirmation, but the hot-stuff sex scene between Berry and Brosnan (he's such a lucky bastard) reportedly runs LONGER in Europe and is trimmed up for the American audience. Gotta protect the unaccompanied kids, I guess; don't want any bare arse mixed in with the strangulations and head-shootings...
Mr. Cranky hates the film something crazy. Chilling quote: "I don't know where the definition of "kiss of death" is in the Hollywood lexicon but "Madonna has a speaking part" is an indication that you're getting close."
Yes, Maddie has a speaking role in "Die." Oh-oh...
