Oh let's see:

1) There was scene in a movie with a 300+ lbs naked lesbian.  Urp.

2) The  scene in Harold & Maude which shows them in bed, afterwards.  The film was shown to us in high school, I think everyone went "eeewwww"

3) Any movie title saying "Starring Madonna"

4) The scene in "The Pope of Greenwich Village" where he gets his thumb cut off.  It's the only scene of violence in the movie, and not much is shown.  That's probably why it hit home to me, it seemed like it could be so real.

5) I cried the first time I saw the penultimate scene in Old Yeller.

The scene in Caligula with the man they force feed wine, cut is penis off and feed in to the dog.

The shot of the man standing in the middle of the killing fields in the movie by the same name

The guy with the gifted anus in Pink Flamingos, the chicken f**king scene wasn't pleasant either.

Most of Meet the Feebels

The ear eating scene in Dead Alive

For me it was the killing of real animals in Cannibal Holocaust.  Ick.

The "acupuncture needles into the eyelids" and the "sawing off the foot with a sharp wire" scenes in AUDITION were pretty unsettling.

The shower chainsaw scene in SCARFACE was pretty disturbing the first time I saw it, but it has lost most of its impact over the years.

The "lopping off the top of the head" scene in MAKE THEM DIE SLOWLY (aka CANNIBAL FEROX) gets an honorable mention.

I agree with the writer who mentioned FUNNY GAMES . . . the entire tone of that movie is disturbing.

The words "Written, Produced and Directed by Sylvester Stallone" have always bothered me.

Also "Co-starring Shelly Winters . . . George Kennedy . . . Hal Holbrook . . . Robert Foxworth . . . Cameron Mitchell . . . (the list is endless)

Probably the most disturbing scene I've seen was in Titticut Follies, a long-banned documentary on mental hospital conditions. In the scene, footage of a patient being force-fed (via a tube in his nose) is juxtaposed with footage of that same patient's funeral preparations (being shaved, having his eyes stuffed, etc). I suppose it doesn't really count, since it's real and not just done for the movie, but as soon as I realized what was happening, my blood ran cold, and I was kinda shaken for the rest of the day.

Another scene that's disturbing in a more subtle way is the one in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, where that one girl stumbles into the room with all the bones, and the camera pans across them... and keeps panning. You keep expecting it to end, but it lasts at least a minute or two, showing more and more body parts. The scene has a huge feeling of "Holy sh*t, these people are sick"... And then the guy who did it comes through the door!

Also, I can't believe no one's mentioned the eye-slicing scene in Bunuel & Dali's Un Chien Andalou (which, the more I think about it, is one of the greatest films ever made).

The rape scenes in I Spit On Your Grave are probably the most disturbing scenes I've watched in a movie.  Nothing has made me squirm more than watching them.

The scene in Terror Firmer where The killer shows it's private parts at the end.  I have never seen organs that were that disturbing.

The very end of Jeepers Creepers.  Seeing the eye through the holloed out eye sockets left me in shock for a while.

THe atttempted rape of a little girl ghost that miraculously turned into a twenty something year old woman ghost in Vengeance of The Dead.  This disturbed me because she as an eight year old ghost and then out of nowhere she was an adult.  And add to that that he wanted to rape her for no f ing reason.

In the same movie the scene where the old man sands his wood(?)  while his grand  daughter takes a shower.  That was just plain confusing and sickening.

At the end of Burial Ground where the Little creepy boy bites his mom's  nipple off.  That scene haunted me since the first time I saw that movie like 14 years ago, if my memory serves me correctly.

I always felt the scene in HG Lewis' "Two Thousand Maniacs" where the woman is brought into the Mayor's office only to have her arm chopped off with an ax was very disturbing.
Mainly because it seems so very real. No music. Just horriffic shrieks. You know she is doomed being held down by three men while a fourth grabs a handy ax.
Then the madenning gleefulness of the purpetrators is just sick.

I love it!!!!!!

Don't worry Perk.  The boy in Burial Ground is actually a man/child.  But I'll be damned if he isn't one of the most disturbing visions ever put on celluloid.

For me, it would have to be the one story in 'Necronomicon', where the policewoman is trapped in the sewers and miscarried and then at the end of that particular episode, she is strapped down with no arms or legs, with things sucking her marrow...there was just something disturbing about it....that she would never get out alive...trapped.....
