Does anyone know of a website or some other source that lists all of the movies directed under the pseudonym "Alan Smithee," and also lists who the real director was?

It's been several years since the director's guild (or is it a union) has stopped using the "Alan Smithee" pseudonym in the event a director wanted his/her name removed from the credits of a film. They just don't do it any more.

It makes sense that the Directors' Guild stopped allowing the use of the "Smithee" name. There are so many crappy movies being made these days that the name would be vastly over used.

I also think that the Movie Burn, Hollywood Burn which as was about a filmmaker named Alan Smithee trying to get his name taken off of his destroyed epic.

What we need to do is make a Dark Half style movie where a man calling himself Alan Smithee start offing Hollywood producers in inventive and gross ways.

Too bad we couldn't get Vincent Price to play him.

W/ CGI we actually could. Besides Rush did such a good job in a VP type roll before I think he could pull it off
