Wasn't Van Damme making a Bigfoot movie?  Whatever happened to it?  IMDB doesn't show anything about it.

A Google search for "bigfoot van damme" (sans quotation marks) will bring up pages for "Abominable," but click on the "cached" pages because some of the direct links are no good anymore. The project's deader'n hell. You might, um, say, eh, it's been "Derailed." Hoo hoo hoo.

"Abominable",the would-be Van Damme movie, where he battles the Yeti(Abominable Snowman),was never filmed,as was the same fate with "The Monk"(Van damme with a bald head---a bald head !?!).

Do you mean there are films so bad even JCVD refuses to make them?!

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

"The Monk" is still a "go," at least according to the IMDB, which has a picture of VCDM as the title character.

Directed by Hong Kong kung-fu legend Ringo Lam (like Woo and Hark, came to the US and started making junk--like Van Damme's "Replicant"), it'll probably actually be finished and released to capitalize on the anticipated success of the upcoming "Bulletproof Monk," if for no other reason.

"Abominable," on the other hand, doesn't seem to have ever even started filming.

Thanks all.  Damn, I was really looking forward to how that one would go.

You have to wonder how people pitch ideas to Van Damme.

"Jean-Claude, we have this new idea for you.  You're going to be a Belgian girl scout leader, who is a former kickboxer, whose troop is bullied by the mob who wants to take over girl scout cookie sales in your area.  You try to reason with them, but end up kicking their butts."

I actually like that idea.  As long as he's never in a girlscout uniform doing high kicks.
