I should rephrase my question.  Should tapes be stored rewound or not?  Any comments to the aforementioned recent screens are appreciated

I almost always rewind the movies. I'd rather spent the time rewinding it after I watch it than get stuck waiting for a movie to rewind when me and sometimes other people are waiting for the movie to rewind so we can watch it.

With my own videos I usually rewind to the exact start of the movie/programme, after the trailers and everything. But only when I can be bothered. Stuff I hire, I always rewind, I don't see why people find it difficult, you can watch TV while the films rewinding. All you have to do is press one button. They should use 'do you rewind video tapes after use' as a question in job interviews. People who don't are some special kind of lazy.
