Oh my !!!!! I watched Hostage Hotel last night with a friend - one thing kept popping into my mind. "Why?"
Poor old Burt Reynolds was only in it for about 20 minutes and when he WAS on the screen he was either putting his pecker back in his pants (if it still works) because of the many bikini clad females surrounding him and his trumpet playing friend (they NEVER explained that guy) or he was doing the Geritol shuffle trying to save some brat from Kieth Carradine.
oh,......and then there was poor old Charles Durning. He MUST have been killed and revived at least 15 times while making this Flick.

it was obviously a rip off of Die Hard. They should've called it "Retire, Burt!!!"

Burt has certainly fallen from grace. From his glory days of DELIVERANCE and THE LONGEST YARD to his 1980s crap like STICK to his current unwatchable flurry of films. He briefly redeemed himself in BOOGIE NIGHTS, but he couldn't sustain the momentum.

Heard the sh*thead even fired his agent after he insisted in him doing "Boogie Nights". He CAN act, and he is real good, but he often chooses the easy way of not acting at all. Moreover, he is a complete jerk.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Yeah, but he is funny as hell on SNL Jeopardy. Maybe he and Norm MacDonald should team up...
