July Godzilla Fest in Arl. Heights IL...

The tenth annual G-Fest will be held in Arlington Heights (just outside O'Hare and about a half mile from where I live) on Fri-Sun, July 18-20. Details can be found here:

If anyone comes in, make sure to arrive Friday morning. An event highlight will be a showing of Gamera III at an actual nearby theater. (See my review of last year's show in the Jabootu Nuggets section under Misc.) Also, Saturday night they'll possibly be showing one of the last two Godzilla movies that haven't been seen in this country yet. There's also a dealer's room with an unholy amount of Godzilla crap for sale, although no bootleg tapes.

Yeah, and give Lees some crap for never getting back to me about the short story I sent him!  Actually, with any luck I'll be there so I can do it in person.

Dude, I know you come to B-Fest.  Are you local?  If not, I can probably give you a ride to the movies and back.

Nope, I'm not local.  I'm from northern Iowa.  We make about a nine hour drive to B-Fest.  I'll keep in touch if we can indeed make it for G-Fest, and a ride would be greatly appreciated.
I also have a professor who goes to G-Fest regularly.  Maybe you know her?  Joyce Boss?
