i got this cheap at a video store or or or some place...

alan alda...turned MASH hyper serious..."the four seasons"...gray touchy feely whatever...but check this one out:

TO KILL A CLOWN (1971 i think):

alan alda plays a crippled war veteran on an island with two killer dogs. he stalks a young couple and takes them hostage.

this wasn't that bad! i didn't check the clock once. the story could kinda happen...the couple are pretty dumb though..maybe it was just the fun of seeing a pre-MASH alda going completely nuts and making the young guy move piles of rocks around with the dogs standing guard.

worth renting or buying cheap if you are familiar w/any of alda's "serious" work. kind of a novelty.
