I would have to say that the worst movie ever is The Dark Planet. The first half hour is all claymation dinsoaurs walking around to mewling noises and bad techno. Then there is a period in which some tower is somehow connected to guys in ape masks carting around some chick. Then a guy walks around in a garden for what seems like eternity, before engaging in a gunfight. The claymatioan of a head disintegrating is coll, but the rest is pure s__t!

I still vote Manos as the worst film ever.  Though other films do come close..

I've said repeatedly, Parents is the worst movie ever made.  My own personal Room 101.  I'm not saying I'd rather be tied to a chair with a cage with a rat in it attached to my face than watch this movie again, I'm just saying I'd have to think about it.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again...Batman and Robin was the worst movie ever. Period. It's just plain evil. Damn you Schmucer, damn you to hell. Bastard.

Isn't John Saxton in "Aftermath"? Anyways - Manos is bad, Batman & Robin was impossible to watch, but I must make "Lost Highway" as the worst film ever made. I couldn't make any sense of the film and the pacing was soooo slow.

I don't think anyone can make much sense of "Lost Highway". Suggestions on a postcard, please.

I might be thinking of Cannibal Apocalypse, that was good compared with The Aftermath.

The Aftermath is about a group of astronauts who return to earth only to find everything destroyed by WW3. Forest J Ackerman has a small role.

Fritz - "Cannibal Apocalypse" has an all-time classic line of dialogue, when the police officer finds one of his men about to chomp on a breast - "Oh my god! Put it down son!" I think that is the right movie.

I havn't seen it yet, you can't get it over here for love nor money. In fact I've never really seen a cannibal film (apart from Dr Butcher MD.) Any movie with the word 'cannibal' in the title sets of red lights at the BBFC.

Lost Highway - Terrible movie, but what a soundtrack.

I actually really like LOST HIGHWAY.  But I have a soft spot for artily pretentious movies that make no sense.  Especially if they're in the David Lynch weirdness vein.

I've read quite few explanations for it, but I believe it's like Alice in Wonderland, in that it's mostly nonsense, so any explanation you come up with can be applied to it.

I think it makes more sense if you realize that Lynch played it off as more of a riff than a story.  The atmosphere is actually the most important thing.

Of course, this is my rationalization.  If people don't buy into it than it's bound to be crap to them.  Just like everything else.

The two worst films of all time are the soft
porn/B movies "The Killer Eye" and "Virtual
Girl".  They fail as porn, and fail as movies -
damn you, Showtime.

I've been waiting as patiently as I can.  I've been holding off -- but no one else has mentioned it yet, so it falls to me to warn you:

BAD MAGIC!  The Polonia Brothers burrow so much farther than the bottom of the barrel it'll pop your ears!
