Josh Becker's most recent movie(along with his last film "If I Had A Hammer")is a powerfully raw and gritty viewing experience, that not only uses the same filming technique that Alfred Hitchcock experimented with in "Rope",but also stars Bruce Campbell is one of his best, most challenging acting roles,as a newly released convict who immediately hooks up with old buddies to rob the deposit of the prison(where Bruce was locked down)for half a million in mob money, but so many things go wrong, that Bruce is soon on the run,and has to make a choice between fleeing to Mexico,or staying for the high school sweetheart he still loves. Becker's directing here is surrealistsic and mesmorizing, which helps draw us into the story, and caring a lot about Bruce's cause, and how he'll deal with it,for Becker is such a strong filmmaker that you'll wonder why he didn't get a fair deal in directing side-by-side with good buddy Sam Raimi, since Becker has plenty more to offer than many of the up-and-coming hackmeisters that make films these days. Otherwise, this is heavily required viewing for all of you Bruce Campbell-holics that are out there(and there's so many of you folks,as well),for both Bruce and Josh would be very happy if you saw this film, and would about how much you loved it.
