What is the breakdown of your movie collection?

I haven't counted, so this is just a rough estimate of mine:

30% horror/sci-fi/suspense
30% action/western/war
20% drama
15% comedy
5% music/musicals

If it adds up to more than 100%, it means the person made an adding mistake.

If it adds up to less than 100%, it means that the missing percentage is porno films and the person doesn't want to admit it.

I guess I should have added a separate category for movies like TEENAGE GANG DEBS, THE VIOLENT YEARS, GIRL GANG and other drive-in trash. I lumped them in with my "30% action" category, but they really deserve their own category.

I asked someone here at work to set up a really great-looking database for my movies. She's really good at inventing databases and she said she would try to do it when she is on maternity leave. Then I can sort them by different categories and get the real percentages. (You must be saying, "Doesn't he have anything better to do with his miserable life?")

I'm sure I'd get a lot of flak for my collection, but hey, it is what it is.  Here goes:

90% Action
5% Horror
3% Drama, or stuff like Goodfellas, Glengarry Glenn Ross, Donnie Brasco, Memento, etc.
2% Comedy

Action definitely dominates my collection.  Sometimes (well, most of the time) you just need a good explosion or gunfight in a movie.
