Yonggary 2001 is Coming!

"Yonggary 2001" will FINALLY be making its US debut soon--under the title "Reptilian" (!!!)--on VHS and DVD. Preorders are available, check the Monster Zero site for links.

The re-titling sucks, but what sets me off is the fact that I saw "Reptilian" on the shelf of a video store the last time I was in Japan--and didn't recognize it as "Yonggary"!

REPTILIAN?  What kind of name is REPTILIAN?  It sounds like Reptilicus's brother to me.

I mean, what is the whole mindset on that?  I can almost understand Godzilla and Mothra, but REPTILIAN?

Oh well.  On of life's little mysteries, I guess...

It popped up on the new releases list at DVD Empire when I checked this morning.  That went right into my pool of films to preorder.

REPTILIAN....sounds like a 5000 ton debutant at the senior porm. "Reptilian, dear, please don't sit on the glee club, it'll stain your dress!" Man, i hope theres no "Painful Rectal Itch" involved in this one!
