The American FIlm Institute let their members vote on the top 50 heroes and top 50 villians. (out of 400 competitors)., Once again, it turns out that the mindless masses have won, with Hannibal Lecter being # 1 for villians.

Atticus FInch is a good choice for best hero I must admit.

Here is the full list

And if anyone can tell me how to post that URL as a link, I would appreciate it.

Are we talking about heros and villians or best actors???

List is full of crap... you cannot say Atticus Flinch is good to the evil Hannibal Lecter.

Missing good guys...

Harry Potter...

Shaft...

The Lord of Rings Team... (I cannot think of any of there names but they are heros)

Missing bad guys...

Leatherface...

Jason...

Michael Mayers... (you cannot tell me that they passed him up)

You know this list really bugs me...

Hero: For voting purpose, a "hero" was defined as a character(s) who prevails in extreme circumstances and dramatizes a sense of morality, courage and purpose. Though they may be ambiguous or flawed, the often sacrifice themselves to show humanity at its best.

and then you have...

Ellen Ripley...

Tarzan...

Lassie...

Zorro...

Batman...

Terimiator...

What no characters from Die Hard? Lethal Weapon? Death Wish (Bronson should be on the list here)?

What about that Pig? (sorry name has escaped me... I think the pig was a better hero then Lassie)

Ben-Hur (here is a character that when thru everything that was mention from the list)

Do you mean Babe, r the one in Charolette's Web,

Also, how the hecjk casn u leave off preadator and put on the Aliens, it is an aliens nature to kill, but a predator's nurture to want to kill that makes it evil.
