He was pretty good in that, by far not the worst athlete turned actor


Does Jesse Ventura in "Abraxas" count?

Wasn't one of the US Olympic gymnastic guys in a movie.

"Gymkata" I was suprised it hadn't beem mentioned

I'd say Joe Namath in CHATTANOOGA CHOO CHOO.  My wife and her friends often "counter-program" against the New Year's Day Bowl-athon that my male buddies and I watch by holding their own NAMATHON of sorts, showing CC AND COMPANY, THE LAST REBEL, CHATTANOOGA CHOO CHOO and some episodes of THE WAVERLY WONDERS that one of them bought off somebody who taped them decades ago and sold them over the internet!

Former 49ers (maybe current too) defensive lineman in Reindeer games, What a god awful movie.


Also, anyone who the main characters have to say, look its world famous so and so, for example, that mountain climber in Vertical Limit.
