Innocent Blood http://us.imdb.com/Title?0104511 Anyone but me like this movie?

I don't think I've heard anyone comment on it, but I thought it was great! I found the idea of the Mob (with Don Rickles as the Mob Lawyer / Mob vampire lunch) meets the hot vampire chick (Anne Parillaud [girl le Femme Nikita] who is the good guy) a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed the way the film turns from the expected horror genre to a dark comedy. On a good night I might actually give this one four and a half slimers (the extra half for a great cast of mobster guys, same ones you see in all the mob movies).

I’ve also seen nothing about Razor blade Smile http://us.imdb.com/Title?0159693  , disappointingly. For a UK low budget female vampire assasin movie I thought it was pretty good; surprisingly enough it kept me entertained enough for the ending to actually be a surprise. Nothing new really in this, few ideas stolen from Highlander, but a lot of fun. Anyone else seen it?

Innocent Blood I liked a lot.

I hated Razor Blade Smile. I didn't like the characters and I didn't like the style. The plot was sort of interesting, but not enough to make me like it.

Maybe I just have a thing for British movies, a latent Emma Peal thing of some sort?

I saw it a few years ago, but I seem to remember enjoying it lot. Not like Peter Fonda's movie Naja . . . the best review I saw for this was "I want my money BACK ! ! !" and I didn't even pay for the rental.

Anyone else see this stinker?

:-)

I'm with John.  I thought Innocent Blood was really cool but wasn't that thrilled by Razor Blade Smile

Razor Blade Smile sucked really bad I hate that movie. I first saw a movie review of it in Fangoria back in 1999 and thought it was a good movie to rent a very bad mistake. I wasted five dollars on that cappy socalled vampire movie it just like the others vampire movies I rented Embrace the Darkness, Blood Thristy, Club Vampire, and Angel of the Night. Innocent Blood was a pretty good vampire movie I like it the end should been a little more better but a good movie to rent.

Innocent Blood is very cool, I especially love those scleral contact lenses (made out of the same material as stop signs for trivia fans) they use for the eyes.
Razor Blade Smile had a great ending and that's about it.  Tried to have too much style and forgot to have a plot or anyone bothering to be a good actor.

I thought Razor Blade Smile was one of the worst movies ever made.  There were one or two mildly amusing parts and some good nudity....  Nothing else, really.  AWFUL action scenes, HORRIBLE quality, and the movie is often boring.

I have not seen "Innocent Blood." I have seen "Razor Blade Smile." Thought it was a case of all-style and no substance. Did like the line: "Stitch the b***h," though.

If one does want to see hot,  female vampires or, at least, vampiric like creatures, then I recommend the following films. In reverse order ot the year they were made.

Lair of the White Worm (1988) w/ Amanda Donohoe
The Hunger (1983) w/ Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon
Countess Dracula (1972) w/ Ingrid Pitt
Black Sunday (1961) w/ Barbara Steele
Dracula's Daughter (1936) w/ Gloria Holden

Enjoy all the films.

So I'm the only guy on the planet that liked Razor Blade Smile! I can live with that.

Maybe I just like campy, very low budget, British horror . . . so sue me. I still had a lot of fun with it, maybe I just started out with extreemly low expectations and ended up with better than expexted, huh?

Any other movie suggestions?

is razor blade smile the manga live one ? i bought because i collect manga and it said exreme sexual scenes on the case. i was dissapointed in that department. i expected straight up vamp porn but i didnt get it. its ok though. i think it would have worked better as a cartoon though.

there is a zombie flick with some sex in it called 'virgin among the living dead'. i havent seen it but i really wanna.
