Critics get special advance screenings of movies prior to release for the purpose of having a review printed on opening weekend.  Many direct to video companies send out screener copies to websites such as this for much the same reason.  Usually when a movie is NOT screened for critics, it means the studio wants to control the negative word of mouth.

Don't you realize that Spike Lee has ownership of Spike.  You can't use spike, unless perhaps you are Spike Lee -- gee I'm confused now; but is Spike Lee the same guy as Stan Lee, they both have last names of Lee, and first name starting with S, and one syllable.

How do you know he isn't really Spike Lee?

Spike Lee is too Important to hang out with us.  Besides, he's a Serious Director, making Serious Movies with Profound Messages for Our Times.  We, on the other hand, are ignorant slobs who'd think Stan Lee's Stripperella was actually from Spike Lee.

You mean it isn't? :(  Dang, I thought that Spike had finally made something I would want to watch. :)

Plus, I think Spike Lee would know how the reviewing system works.
