Yet one more movie title search

I remember this film about late 80's early 90's I believe. It was a vary bad film about a girl who thought she has fire powers every time she got horny. But at the end of the film you find out it was the mother making it look like it all along.

Major thing I remember about this film was the poor cat. That cat went through hell through out the whole film.

Anyone can help?

I think it sounds like either "Pyrates" or "Firestarter" but I've seen neither.

I know it's not firestarter. This was a comedy. An it's not Pyrates, Kevin Bacon was not in this. It was made up of mostly unknown actors.

This sounds like Wilder Napalm (1993), which I understand was supposed to be a comedy.

Oh, no.  Wait.  That was two pyrokenetic guys and a pyromanic gril, er, girl.  Ne'er mind...

Nice Girls Don't Explode (1987) - Michelle Meyrink's mother tries to keep her a virgin by telling her that she has something explosive inside and if she ever has sex, she'll explode. Whenever she gets too close to a guy, mom sets something on fire to convince her that her life really is in danger.
