Not having known any actors, there aren't any I particularly miss. Most of my favorite actors kinda stopped doing quality work long before they shuffled off this mortal coil. Robert Mitchum, great actor..the prototypical noir tough guy, but sadly his later body of work consisted of classics like "Backfire!", USA made for tv movies and a crappy James Dean biopic. Steve McQueen, the ultimate in cool, was making films like "The Hunter"  before he died(much too young), and Peter O'Toole, while still alive, isn't really appearing in much lately(although I read that he is in the upcoming "Troy").

I guess that instead of really missing my favorites, I wish they had done a few more really good ones. Thankfully, through the miracle of DVD and cable tv, I can still catch my favorite actors in there greates roles.

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.
