I'm about the only naysayer with this film, but I say no, especially if you're expecting a zombie movie.  There are a few good parts, but the "zombies" aren't in a  lot of the movie.  The filmmakers took a lot from Romero, but mainly the social commentary stuff and not so much the horror stuff.    There are some nice moments here and there, and I liked the overall concept, but didn't like how they carried it out.  28 DAYS LATER didn't really work for me as a horror film.

But a ton of other people here liked the film, so you might too.

Yes, I saw it and I really enjoyed it. It is not a perfect film, but it explores much more aspects of the "What would you o if the world ended?" area than other films of the same kind. It is also quite scary and there are plenty of tense situations.

I wouldn't consider it a zombie flick, though. The people are not undead, but contaminated by some strange toxine, and their attacks do not always follow the zombie pattern, which caused some complaints from the die-hard zombie fans.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

I saw it before they tacked on the original ending after the credits. I thought it was a very good movie, and I plan to buy the DVD.
