With the resurgence of such shows as A-Team, Incredible Hulk and even the Care Bears, why don't the networks bring back some other stuff we haven't seen in a while.

My list:

Greatest American Hero—had a great theme song and the humorous parody was cool.

Misfits of Science—I saw two episodes and then it was gone...

Monsters—Best late-night action in the 90's.

Twilight Zone—Scared me stiff as a kid.

Wattya think?

Star Trek with the original TV music and color. Return of all the original stars. Yea ! ! ! Captain Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Sulu, Checkov, Lavura, Anson, and Klingons.

And yes to Mystery Science Theater. Loved that show.

I always wanted the show FAMILY MATTERS to survive to this very day. I mean, I have nothing but fond memories of the show and I am still entertained it (i.e., it shows up at 8:00 in the morning and I usually catch it). And the show was produced at a time when the old 'TGIF' days actually had a good show to offer before the pre-Disney days.

Sure, 'TGIF' delivered some off-kilter shows like STEP-BY-STEP and BOY MEETS WORLD (two shows that I really hated back then), but FAMILY MATTERS was a trendsetter back in the day. The show wasn't heavily corrupted with "counter culture" like BOY MEETS WORLD and STEP-BY-STEP. Even today, "counter culture" seems to have taken over TV sitcoms rather than just entertaining.

Quantum Leap (with a decent ending this time!)

I-Man (or the Invisible Man, you know, the one with Quicksilver)

The Greatest American Hero? I'm totally down with that - but he has to be Mr. HINKLEY, none of this "whoops-our-main-character-has-the-same-name-as-a-presidential-would-be-assassin-let's-change-the-name-to-not-offend-anyone" crud...

animated shows:

Dragon's Lair (loved it, short lived though it was)

Star Blazers

Voltron with the Lions, not the land/sea/air team

just to name a few!

You Can't Do That on Television

Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Rako's Modern Life, AHH!Real Monster!, Saulte Your Shorts, Round House, Welcome Back Freshmen, What Would You Do On T.V.? NickArcade. Really pretty much every show that appeared on Nickalodian before it went to "Channel of CRAP!" (Chalk Zone seems to be the only good show on the channel now.)
