Seven years on MacGyver and you cannot figure this out? We got belt buckles, shoe laces, and a piece of gum. Build a nuclear reactor for crying out loud.  You used to be MacGyver, MacGadget, MacGimmick, and now you are now 'Mr. MacUseless'.

Sifl and Olly- quite possibly the only good thing mtv had going for it in 1998-1999, cancelled of course but lasted longer than I thought it would. Taped all of the episodes and even have the unreleased season 3 but I wish they would show them again.

I don't really get nostaligic for T.V. shows to the point of wanting them back.  Most shows fit within a cultural context and a personal context and it's hard to think of those shows out of that context.  Miami Vice was very much a product of it's time, for example, would it make any sense now?

The exception being shows that were cancelled recently and you wish they would go on, because you are still in the same context

This is true in many cases. ROWAN AND MARTIN'S LAUGH - IN, for instance, was a huge success during its original run. But the show is so "late 60s," that any attempts at reruns have not been very successful. The humor just doesn't translate well to current times.

On the other hand, you have shows like LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, which are dated, yet they seem to still appeal to modern audiences.

I wonder if DANCE FEVER (with Denny Terrio wearing polyester clothes and gold chains) could ever make a strong comeback on the rerun circuit.

I remember the one show I hated was "Land of the Lost..."  I couldn't stand that show for whatever reason.

If somebody mentioned it, I agree 100%.  But if not, Misfits of Science.  Please bring that back.  It was on when I had no control of the tv on friday night (or my own tv for that matter) I had to be subjected to boring crap like Dallas and Falcon's Crest.
