When I was visiting a friend when I was seven he had this movie where it starred the father from the first two Beethoven movies (I think his name is Charles Grodin) . The movie is about a dad (Grodin) and he owns an amusment park. He takes his son on a trip to get there. But his son is a pest. For example the two stop at a Seven Eleven/DariMart (you know one of those sort of place.) and it turns out the people in the car right by them are also going to the same place, as in the next day..which would be sooner, anyway the kid wants to get there sooner so he switchs clothing with the other families kid (i'm not sure how convinced a kid not to go to a amusment park buuut...) when the dad and the (other)boy get in the car he's like"....WaitAMINUTE YOUR NOT MY SON!" he looks over and see the his son in the other car, and the whole thing is fixed later. And the other scene I remember is on this one dino ride the track breaks because the kid was riding the ride so many times and he falls and he's dangaling right above a T-Rex's mouth that looks like it could kill him. The dad is like "I don't care if the dinosaure eats you" then he comes to his senses and helps the kid up and they hug and are both all sorry this and sorry that and the movie ends. What's this movie, cause I'm wondering how it would hold up to the today me

I think it might be Clifford, which starred Martin Short as the little boy.

I think that i vaguely remember possibly watching this film. I'm pretty sure that the 'kid' was played by a not so young Martin Short and that the film was called something like 'Timmy' or 'Tommy' or 'Sammy' or some other kids name. If there was a scene on a plane then it could probably be the same film.
